My name is Nathan Hawkes. I’m 39 years old and I’m a WordPress developer. I’ve been coding since 2002, coding professionally since 2006, and I’ve been working with WordPress since 2007. I’m a certified digital marketer, experienced in digital marketing strategy and practices, qualified in digital media production, and a qualified teacher (to PTTLLS 3). I also love ice cream and I occasionally post stuff online.

Website Development
From HTML to PHP, CSS to JS, website development is a passion of mine. I create websites for a variety of audiences in a variety of sizes.
WordPress Development
The world's favourite CMS is a frequent tool of mine. WordPress is my go-to site management system, and I regularly develop custom themes and plugins fot it.
Branding
Whether it's a personal brand or a corporate brand, I love to create identities that fit client needs beyond the logo and colour scheme.
Training
Not only am I a qualified teacher (PTTLS Level 3), I've designed and created workshop programmes and class material from scratch.

Wai Yin Society
As a small local charity, Wai Yin has always managed all of its marketing and media in-house, which put a lot of stress and strain on its human resources. The brief was to create a new website, powered by WordPress, which could be updated by all staff members and volunteers.

North Manchester Community Partner was formed from a partnership of organisations across the North Manchester area. It wanted to be able to promote their own services as well as service updates, events and news from their partners.

What started as the development of a new website became a full rebranding when North Manchester Black Health Forum decided to change their name and identity to Hopewell. New email, new domain, new branding, and new hosting was required as part of the overhaul.

Who Broke The News? is an unofficial website tracking player scores and episode details for the Dropout show Breaking News. It features detailed statistics, player profiles, and interactive leaderboards for fans.

Harpurhey Neighbourhood Project needed a new website as their old one was inaccessible. After meeting with them and discussing their needs, it turned out they needed a completely new site, one that was easier to update and was more accessible to their users.
